Chemistry question....

What is KH2?

I keep seeing P04 which I know is phosphorus, but at times I see KH2P04. What kind of phosphorus is that?

Guess I should have taken chemistry when I was in school. :(

It's called Monopotassium Phosphate...Phosphate is PO4 with a charge of 3- (Phosphorus is P).

Does it make difference which one you use? I have Seachems Phosphorus; which one is it?

I cannot discern that from their site, but someone else should be able to answer that directly.

KH2PO4 is the phosphate found in Fleet Enema, available at your local pharmacy for a couple of dollars for a long time supply.

Ahh ha, now I get it.

Fleet emina is the non commercial source of phosphorus, and No-Salt/Nu-Salt is potatssium.

Is there a difference betweetn No-Salt and Nu-Salt? I notice there are some additional ingredients in No-Salt:
adipic acid, fumaric acid, silicon dioxide, and mineral oil.

The reason I ask is because I haven't seen Nu-Salt in the stores here.

Yes, No-Salt is basically Potassium Chloride(KCl) and used by many for dosing K.
Fleets Enema is the most convenient(IMO) source for P. Comes in a bottle with a dropper. Very easy to use and cheap. Just be careful with your drops as they can come out fast if you squeeze too hard.
