I was worried about adding a salfin and a yellow tang together in the tank but it was like they both wonted company. They got along from minute 1 ,no aggression at all.The sailfin wonts to swim with the yellow tang. thought I would add a full tank shot since I haven't posted one since I first got the tank.

Well I guess that answers my question LOL. I want to get a salfin tang, I'VE just started a 180 gal and already have a yellow tang in my 55 gal but want to add a salfin tang and put both of them together in the 180 gal. I guess you already the salfin and just added the yellow tang?

it dependson the fish.. most yellow tangs hav an agression problem when theyve been in the tank for a while by themeslves (no other tangs) or they get mmore agressive with age...

nice fishies.....

Thanks all..I added the Sailfin tang on Saturday and the Yellow Tang on Monday..They are best buddies now.The Sailfin didn't wont to eat from the algea clip,I wasn't to concerned since he had onlt been in there a short time and was still feeling things out.The yellow tang didn't eat from the clip the first day but today she went for it as soon as I attached the seaweed, the sailfin watched the yellow eat from it a few times and then it started eating from it as well.
