Hey GMan...

what do you think it is. I have no idea what might be spawning...

and from the way my cucumber was all over it Its probably gone already!

If its more cucumbers I'll have to start iradicating these things... they are quick to reproduce as it is... I don't mind them because they are detrius eaters, the don't seem to bother corals, and are interesting to watch... but I have alot of them, and they really arent that pretty... they're kinda brownish orange and nasty looking when the move across the glass...

Here's an old pic of a big one... this one was about 6-8inches long

looks like a spaghetti worm sticking out of a tube to me....dont know of any cucumbers that have feeding tentacles that thin or long. they are all filter or detritus feeds though so really they can only add to ur clean up crew...if they multiply...means food is good...meaning u get rid of them...u may have more dirt then needed.

That's the whole worm... I read into these worms when I first discovered them... and among the many names they've been given, I found that they are actually cucumbers by species rather then "worms" cant remember the scientific name...

They are also refered to as "blood gilled ..." It's all a little foggy becuase It was so long ago, and all of the possibilities seemed to be harmless and not warrent further study...

Anyway, this guy was the biggest ive seen as of yet... if you look at my clowns you get an idea of the size. And he was out walking across my tank so you could see all his "glory"

If you know a little more about these guys tell me about them... Their neat, just not pretty
