What fish with Blue Acaras

Hi thinking of getting 4 blue acaras , wondering which others to put in with them . Any ideas?

Do you know how many gallons that is (72?)? Just wondering. I had an acara a while ago and he lived just fine with some spotted pictus. Otherwise rainbows, giant danios, or any slightly larger fast fish would probably be ok.

www.aquariacentral.com has species profiles, and, at the bottom, they have lists of fish which would be compatible with the fish in question.

you could get firemouths i have heard they go good with blue acaras. my brother got 2 firemouths in his tank with a blue acara

how about festivums and severums?

If you can find uarus.. they are great fish.. shy for a cichlid but a very handsome fish when mature and well cared for.

You would need a big tank for the uaru, bc they get big and they are schooling fish.

My brother has severums, a firemouth, a krib, and a rainbow cichlid with his acara. You could also put uarus and choclate cichlids. Festivums would work too, pretty much just any medium aggressive cichlid.

thanks . the tank is 260lts about 52 gal. just filled it for the first time this weekend , very cool , got a piece of curio wood which is 2.8 foot wide by 1 foot high as a centre piece .
