Ok, so the poll is a bit over the top, but I tire with the 'normal' gifts. What MD gifts have you seen that have been both unique and appreciated?
i didnt see flowers...flowers are a big thing...aandd have the kids make a card for her! she'll LOVE IT!:)

Yeah, the poll isn't really a serious one. I agree flowers are a must. I usually get live ones that she can repot. I figured that someone has heard of a really unique gift.

i didn't take it serious since there isn'e a line for something personal

voted for number 4. boycott! really its the little things in life that count. show her you love her and help her feel appreciated. but if you wanna get gifts go for flowers. maybe some expensive cosmetics?
lingerie gifts are a gift for yourself...and she knows it. dont even try lol

Some of the best gifts are things you can't buy. An experience or sentiment can be priceless. Or a nice spa massage. ;)
We don't really do the whole mother's day thing - I heard an ad this morning that said 'it's the one day to celebrate your mother!' I was like... What?! I celebrate my mom everyday!

LOL you know your wife much better than we do.... do what you think she will love most, and try to make it personal so she feels real special.

Or YOU cook the dinner, and eat it by candlelight:D
Also, I read in a magazine where this womans husband gave her a jar with 365 reasons that he loved her

Something from the kids is a must.
I personally would like a spray tan for Mother's Day but that's just me :D
Oh, and some nookie, definitely some nookie.

Last year I got my mother and mother in-law added to my cell plan. They got their own numbers and phones. I get the bill. Since this is a 2 yr contract, do I need toget them something this yr? Just kidding, but gives me an idea to get them accessories for their phones.
I was regularly going over my minutes but don't anymore since the mothers are now on the same service.
I don't have a home phone BTW.

I have neither a home phone nor a cell phone. For that matter no home internet nor cable TV. I do have electricity. :D

If my hb bought me a gift certificate to VS for Mother's Day, I'd get him a new pair of womens size 7 turf shoes for Fathers Day, and then I'd take my gift certificate to VS and buy a bunch of t-shirts from their website. I love their t-shirts! :D
Maybe the gift certificate is the way to go!

My sister's husband always makes up coupons for her to use.
One for every month of the year.
1. Free massage
2. Free night not to cook
3. One night away from kids.
and so on and so on and so on...
they are personable and can be private ones also...

Flowers, a trip to a day-spa, a nice dinner out, and some nookie should be enough.
