ok i finally got in my live rock(Uncure) so i brushed it off placed it in my tank. Since i got some fish sooner as i wanted to there are located in my Refug. which is cut off from cycling with my tank I placed a filter in it as well to help cycle the tank. was wondering if that was a no no? My main question is I read alot about having uncured live rock and i dont see any of the issues people would have with theres or what i read up on. No stinky smell water is not cloudy and i also have a damsel in the tank and no signs of anything is this normal or the rocks i have are not what they seem to be?:help:

Is your fuge cycled? and did you put the filter in the fuge or the main tank??
Also since you got UNcured LR is there any CURED LR in the MAIN tank? It would be best to have higher Cured to Uncured Ratio in the Main tank to help the uncured get cured faster. The damsels will act normal since there one of the hardiest fish you can get in the SW world. But without your water paramaters I really cant give you any more advise.

Well i have them on both one is what i am keeping on the main tank that has live rock rubble in it. the one in the refug i just added since it is no longer cycling to the main tank. they were at one time till i got in my live rock.

uncured rock should never be added to a system that is cycled or has fish. but just watch it and see how it goes...make apropiate water changes and ull be fine.
