i've had my planted tank for a few months now and its doing good. im dosing it with excel and have about 2wpg in the tank. my current plants are in my sig. the ludwigia is doing great but the others in the tank seem to be growing very slowly. my question is will an airstone diffuse the co2 into the water good enough. i plan on ordering a glass diffuser next week.

i would be doing the gatoraid yeast CO2 systems. the only fertilizers im using is flourish excel

Excels not a fert just a source of carbon. You can improve your growth if u dose ferts. proper lighting, ferts, and co2 aid in plant growth. I wouldnt use an airstone, if ur getting a glass diffuser i guess it would wrk for short term but ull waste alot of gas.

diffuser-only setup works just fine for me.. i guess one of these days i'll quit being lazy and make a reactor.
