I'm going to be setting up a 25gallon tank in about 4 weeks. Does anyone have any fish ideas that I could put in my tank? I'm not sure what I want so I'm open to all suggestions.

Depends if you want an active tank or a more low key one. For an active, I would get some rainbows they school a little and a very active and also some cory catfish. For a more low key approach, you might want to look at dwarf gouramis, they are pretty colorful and aren't real messy.

I'm hoping to get a pretty active tank. One that has fish that likes more then 1 type of food. Not just flake ones. Do you know a site that has information on these rainbow fish?

Most all fish will eat a variety of foods. Flakes, frozen, live, veggies, etc.
you should make a community tank, that way you can have a variety :)

I have decided what I'm getting here is what I'm going to get!
1 male swordtail
2 female swordtails
1 male betta
3-4 corries
1 bristlenose pleco
What do you guys think?

I'm not sure about the betta and the sword tails there may be a bit of fin nipping.

If you want lots of action danios are pretty quick little things. They like to be in a school so about 6 are good. They might not work well with the betta because they can be nippy at times. Oh yeah, they hang out at the middle and top of the tank.
