Hey All,
My tank has just finished cycling. And I want to stock it with a few more fish. It's only a 10gal. I know what you are going to say. It's that best I could do for now. My next tank will be much larger. Anyway, here's what I have in my tank right now. 3 danios and soon to be otocinclus.
Please share your thoughts on what I should add to my tank. I am open to all suggestions

Thanks so much!

maybe a betta. I wouldn't put too much more in the tank after you get the oto's in there.

no otos, they like to be in groups and eat a heck of a lot of algae, if they are not trained to eat veges they will starve. Plus your gonna have a hard time feeding the otos food since danios will pretty much eat anything edible. I say this since my 3 otos that i had died off one by one and when i was down to the last one it sorta just stopped eating and died itself. Before it died this 1 single oto kept my tank very clean but you could tell it was lonely since it always hid and it was hard to find but when it had its friend, it was much more active.

If possible remove the danios, they are too active for a fish tank of this size. You could have it as a dwarf puffer species or maybe a betta tank.

def a betta or gourami and maybe some blackskirt tetras or galaxy rasboras. and a few more danios

please note that the galaxy rasbora's wild count are being drastically reduced due to over catching of this species, as well as the methods of being caught (I.E. cyanide). There numbers are so reduced that catchers often find themselves with only a handful (like 12) of these fish after a whole day of catching. If you dont have the intention of breeding these fish then i wouldnt suggest getting one until there wild count is back up and running.
