Ok, its been up a few weeks now; and I've just added in some more Tetra, so figured I'd post some pictures of our 75 gallon aquarium. I picked out the aquarium & stand - the kids picked out the castles because they reminded them of Disney.
Added in a few pictures of the current inhabitants; they are loads of fun to watch schooling/chasing one another through the castles and the bridge.
The coloration of these fish as greatly improved once I got them into this tank - at first the Bleeding Hearts were vary faded - they are all now brightly colored red. Same with the Red Eye; they had faded tails and eyes; within hours of adding them, they were full of color. These two breeds are cool together - they actually school as one group its really neat seeing that many fish swarm across the tank.
I'll have to update pictures of fish as I stock them ...

Derringer:
It's not my style of tank deco...but for an artificial "fantasy" tank it looks superb! Nice job!

No offence taken; cause we didn't do it to please you - our 3 + 5 year old children love it; it was for them! Happy gagging ...

It really is like an amusement park for them - I've seen them on several occasions swarming from one side of the tank to the other - in and out of the first set of caves, then in and out of the bridge openings, then into the other set of caves - it's amazing.

Yes; we've been the last 3 years and are going again this year - it's become a family tradition. I picked up the larger castles at PetSmart - I got the smaller two at the LFS ... They are manufactured by Penn Plax http://www.pennplax.com/ I think you can get them on eBay for much cheaper.

Having a child of my own I can relate...great way to get the kids interested in the hobby!!...I don't like "ornaments" either...but in all fairness; your setup looks good...A+!
I have done a similar setup in that I have a castle in my 46bow and for the same reason. I have a diver and treasure chest that bubbles up too. The 3 yr old just loves it.

True...while not my style, the tanks for the grandkids look like the LFS decoration shelf and in every conceivable neon color.

LOL, so true - giving them a new aquarium, allows me to redo the others. Now I can remove the air driven divers + alligators and neon marbles etc from some of the other tanks, and do my own thing.
