MN..state bird:: mosquito
I am going to be getting some cut cucumbers from work tomorrow and I was wondering how long to leave a piece of cuke in my 29 gallon for my BN and albino...and if the others will eat any of it..(see sig...)

another quick ? should I take out the seeds then so the small fishies dont choke on them.....thanx...
 
This has nothing to do with the answer (totally agree with what's been said), but I have to ask where you work, mee-mee. Cucumbers from work???
 
lol i agree not to be snoopy but thats one ive never heard. and why shouldnt you leave the cucumber in for more than 12 hours?
 
i dont get why that would hurt the tank if you left it in too long. im obviously missing something
 
the veggies will start to fall apart, then they can get sucked in through your intake going to the filter. If it doesn't do that, then it will just spoil on the gravel and could start causing a water problem. 12 hours is good.
 
I put mine in when I go to bed, and pull them out in the morning, about 7-10 hrs.
