I just got a wet/dry from a friend of mine, but my question is. How do you prime it? :confused:I can't figure out how to get the water to start flowing from the overflow in the tank up the siphon tube. I would ask my friend, but he's out of town. So any help will be greatly appreciated.

i am about to need to do the same and was told that you simply invert the u-tube in your aquarium and cover each end with saran wrap(of something else to keep the water in), install, and remove the coverings. i would appreciate you posting if it works or not because i have not actually tried it yet. thanks

heres what i do...

fill up each side of the overflow box with water, put a piece of airline tubing so the open end is in the middle of the siphon tube. then invert it in the box.

suck on the other end of the airline tubing until you have the siphon tube almost completely full of water. Then when you turn the pump on, water moving through the tube should suck out the remaining air.

Thanks for the replies. I tried both ways posted. They both worked real easy. :)
