any information on these cichlids would be of great use, such as temprement maximum size in an aquarium, minimum sized tank for a pair of golden severums, also the best foods to feed a severum as well. i would be grateful for all and any information that could be given on these cichlids.

thanks hanif

could a pair of golden severums with no other fish do okay in 157 liter aquarium which is 4ft long 1ft wide and 2ft high, the tank would be decorated with driftwood and rocks. the male severum measures around 4inch and the female around 2 inch, currewntly there in a 125 liter aquarium and there doing fine, but there going to be moved shortly, so would the 157 liter 42u.s. gallon be okay.

The link says that 45 gallons is good for a single pair...I would suspect that 42 would be similar, but a little extra filtration would be a good idea.
