ok well ive had my scooter for years now(oldest fish) and it got traped under a rock last week( or so i though). so i sadly replaced her with a red scooter male....it form the second i added it it was sluggish...pretty active in the store...i think the person that caught it might have hit it on the head to hard...i saw it out of the corner of my eye. it was eating but not well...has a full belly but seems like it cant see...today about 5 days later it doesnt moev much and its as if the first half of its body is paralized. now is something causing this to my scooters u think or just a quincidence and teh lady bonked this scooter to hard?
water tests out like this;
temp=79.6
SG=1.025
salinity=35ppt
ammonia=0
nitrate=4
nitrite=0
ph=8.18
alk=3.41
calcium=449.07ppm
phosphate=.03(as usual)
strontium=12 mg/L
iodine= 0.06ppm
magnesium=1,319 mg/L
iron=0.000006 ppm
Silica=< 2ppm
nothing besides the scooter has been added, hands are always clean, was acclimated by drip line for 1.5 hours. same food, same cleaning.

if it's dead for sure get it out with a sample of water and return it. if the warranty is still good there should be no reason for them to not refund you, or at least give you some credit
