my filter in my shrimp farm went dead:mad:
i cant get another one today because my mom and dad are both busy today!!!
how can i keep the tank to stay clean and keep the levels down??:( :help:

set up a bubble stone to keep the water circulating, rinse the filter sponge/media bag in a bit of tank water so it doesnt get messy, and plop it into your tank.. that'll help keep it nice and wet and while it won't denitrify quite as well as the filter would running, it might help a little bit.

well, i only have one air pump, and thats in my 2g!
ill do that with the filter bag though:) thanks

how did it go dead? it just stopped working? did you take it apart and clean it? take the filter media out and soak that in a bucket of tank water to preserve the bacteria. then have a bucket of water with double the amount of salt used in treatment, for cleaning purpose.. soak the removable parts 5 - 10 minutes.. and rinse the inside out.. try to get that thing fired up again! :)
