my friend has a 10gal setup and he has aptasia and wants to remove it with some sort of fish. i didn't really ask but im pretty sure that a fish is prefered to chemicals and such.

You can get that nudibranch, but you will need to find it a new home once all the aiptasia is gone, it will starve from starvation when there is nothing left.

ohhhhhh.....thats just nasty....injecting all that in the aiptasia all at once method? Sheesh....how do you sleep at night.....lol
Seriously, the methods mentioned by Julian above is a very good list of removal methods. All work, and all effective..

where the fudge do you get syringes?!?!

If using joes juice, use the syringe to squirt into the nems mouth, if using boiling water, just cover the darn thing anyway you can to destroy it.....
Some people also inject joes juice directly in to the nem with a hyperdermic needle on the syringe...

Or use a syringe from one of your test kits and rinse it afterwards!

I use Salifert test kits and they all come with a syringe. Or you can get them on Ebay http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/MAMOD-SPARES-Steam-Engine-Water-Filler-Syringe-5ml_W0QQitemZ120120235132QQihZ002QQcategoryZ14737Q QrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

I can vouch for this. I had alot of aptasia in my tank and had to use a product to kill the larger ones. But the shrimp feed on the small ones as they popup. I haven't seen an one since...
