Just added 200 LBS of LR Got another Majestic Angelfish and a Sailfin Tang along with my Niger trigger and of course Dory LOL. Tank is a 180 GAL with 200 LBS of sand 250 LBS of LR. I still might work on the placement of the rock but the fish love it allot of places to hide and swim in and out of. 18837

18838

18839

I don't know why but I have little particles of I guess sand floating around and I had it before the LR was added it makes the water a little cloudy.

your tank and fish are really wonderful. I hope to have a tank like yours someday. its inspirational really.

I see what you are saying about the rocks. The rocks piles are very evenly across. I think if you built some valleys and peaks it would visually look better plus your fish could swim in and out of the valleys.

Just throwing my 2 cents in..... It looks stunning though. I love it.

Thanks for all your comments the fish love the new rock, I don't know if any of you remember but this is my second angelfish I think my yellow tang killed the first one that's why he is still in my 55 gal. I just need to get my porcupine puffer and I'll be set.

I would like to get a banner fish or the Addi's is a great looking fish, but from what every body has told me I should not add to many fish cause the fish I have get big, I'll just have to wait and see.

are you the one that has a sailfin and a yellow tang together? I'm thinking about adding the yellow tang that I already have in my 55 to the mix

it may just be my over stocking nature but i think you could do 2-3 of the flies in that tank, but before you do anything, it's usually best to just wait and see how you fish grow.
besides i don'tmean to force the idea on you i just think that they'd be kickin' in that tank. :D

Nope i THINK thats subliminal (sp) I have the Vlamingi, Naso and Regal. I think yellows are hit or miss really. I would LOVE to get one but I am too chicken to see if it will bully my other tangs and stress them out. I guess you could always try it and see but it things get to out of hand at least you have another tank to put them in.

I keeping an eye on the ammonia and nitrates and I will change the water as often as it needs to keep these down, so far no spikes.

I love my yellow tang and I'm going to put him in the 180 gal tank, if things get out of hand I'll just put him back in the 55

I have a yellow tang and a Salifin together and they are best buddies. The yellow tang will rub the salifin with his nose.I thought he was nipping at first but when I watched he was rubbing him...My salifin went in the tank one day and the yellow the next day..
Your tank looks great I am still in the process with mine just added some coral but I am having so much fun with it.
