Betta's are the best but tricky to breed so far, maybe the ph is too high. the male lives in one third of a 60 ltr tank by himself. We've tried twice and everything seems to go ok until the second morning after the event when the nest is gone and the male is looking a bit confused, sitting where it use to be.
At the mo we're trying to get rid of a black alge growth that came from either a bit of wood or some bloodworm water, any ideas?
