haha. it will be coming home hopefully next week. Here is the slight dilemma that I have. I am moving from NY to KY a couple weeks (Leaving june 1). There is an INCREDIBLE local reptile and amphibian store here in my town. They take fantastic care of everything, the two owners are lifelong experts. They have hundreds of species of reptiles, amphibians, and inverts for sale and many that are not (show only).

Well anyways, they take great care of their animals, especially the ball pythons. They are all farm raised and they do not sell them untill they are steadily eating small frozen rats.

I want to purchase one here because I know the place and know the quality and care they take. Only thing is that it will ahve to take the 9 hour drive with me to my new apartment. I have everything needed for the habitat so it will be put into it as soon as I arrive at the new apartment. The owners said that the python should be perfectly fine for the ride down there, just to keep it out of the sun. They provide an opaque snake bag for transport.

I'd rather do this now and get it from a reputable place than buying in KY from places I don't know anything about. I have done research for shops inthe area without much success.

So what are your thoughts on this. I plan on getting the snake as I'm leaving for KY and getting on the road from there. Though, if you think this is a terrible idea, I can change this plan.

its not terrible, the snake will be ok in the bag, theres nothing for it to see..so..it wont be stressed out, just keep it in the bag and maybe put a cloth on top of it..or halfway on it so it'll feel secure.

are you talking about the white plains expo?
