Hi all, I'm a complete novice in fish keeping, only ever had a goldfish won from the fair when I was a kid, always enjoyed going to aquariums and felt the time was right to get my own tropical tank, only got a 60L tank, which I set up last week, I've been running nearly a week without fish, getting the water set up, and after an issue with cloudy water I've now got clear water, having used Aquafin Clear, although it cleared the water ok, I was left with stringy bits stuck to the decorations and gravel, so did a partial water change and cleaned the gravel and decorations and rinsed the filter in the old water. Any advice on good starter fish and quantities I should put in on my first go? I think I would probably prefer to go for more smaller fish long term rather than a fewer bigger ones, any advice gratefully recieved. Great site by the way, lots of useful information...
