Calcium along waterline

How do I keep the calcium from building up along the tideline at the top of the tank?

i never had that problem before but a quick wipe of the glass should take it off.

Everytime I use an algae magnet I just run it along the top of the tank to stop the calcium from building up. Or like Mgamer said just wipe it off every now and then. It comes off really easy as long as you don't let it build up for too long.

thats what i do, although since me water's pretty soft it takes awhile to build anything up.

I don't think you will be able to stop it from forming. It is a condition of the water you have.
