Well I was watching my cichlid tank today, i could only see my male cnvict which he was guarding the slate of rock and this reptile rock thingy lol. I couldn't see my 2 females ( one black one pink), so i lift up the reptile thingy, and :bday: SURPRISE:bday: there are a healthy clutch of fertilized eggs.

:help: I was just curious why are both my females under there ?? is it a threesome ??
Do you think i should remove the eggs ?
any suggestions i'll try to keep you updated.

Thanks
Mandy.

And you are positive one isn't a male...?

positive because 1 have one pink male ok no red belly , pointed fins (if that means anytihng), my other pink convict is deffinatley a female because of the VERY red belly, and my black convict is also female because she has had fry with the pink male, i think i covered all my experience and knowledge about these 3's love lifes lol.

well today, i decided to remove the eggs into a 10 gallon tank, is this okay ??

Only 3 are unfertile and its their 2nd day well from what i know. Correct me if im wrong by they should hatch in another 1-2 day (s) right?

well im hoping they live, i know they are only convicts but so what they still deserve a chance :)

well today this morning i was trying to get out the white eggs with tweezers, and i soon noticed the eggs to be like umm . . . vibrating sort uh, AND then i see all these little tails hanging out of the eggs, soo umm they have HATCHED, im really happy that they have made it to this stage, will they be ok in a 10 gallon for now ? ? ? ? ? ? ??
Thanks Sincerely
Mandy
