Hi Everyone,
I have a question. WHat's a good food to feed inverts?
I was using some pellets only to find it had copper sulfate.
I know copper is bad for them. Does anyone know any good brand of fish food i can buy for them?

well i have ghost shrimp and they'll eat just about anything i put in there. It was pretty funny to watch them try to eat an earthworm about double their size, and then the earthworm fought back haha.
but they love frozen bloomworms, flake food, shrimp pellets, algae, pretty much anything.
I've read that they are scavengers, but they'll swim right up to the surface and eat flake food off of the top, WHO KNEW?
Crayfish love all kinds of veggies and meat too. I've given mine peas, carrots, boiled chicken, all of which they munch on, greedily! Stay away from fatty meat though, and it's best if you lightly cook (blanch) the veggies to soften them up a bit.
I feed my Cherry Shrimp OMEGA Shrimp Pellets and Hikari Algae Waffers...they seem to be doing Great....just stay away from anything that contains copper sulfate
Tundragirl,
What brand of crab bites do you use? The brand that I fed to my fiddler crabs (HBH Crab & Lobster bites, left over from when I had a crab tank) has copper sulfate so it's not good for shrimp.
My Red Claw (Macrobrachium some such) absolutely go crazy for the Hikari algae waffers. I have to make sure that a few chunks fall into each males territory. The females have to be quick to get some.
