Hey everyone. I was wondering if my 8g tanks is big enough to start a little marine tank. I just want a few fish and maybe a coral or 2, and what fish and coral would be good starters.

I look after a 300g marine tank at school with a few friends so i have a little idea but just need some help thanks heaps.:dance2:
 
Ooooh! a 300 gallon tank! Can you tell us everything about it? If I had a 8 gallon I'd turn it into a mini reef! I'd have just one clown goby and load it with softies.
 
Yes, any tank is possible. The hard part is always finding small fish that you can house in there, no issues with corals, as long as you have the lighting available to support them correctly.

yea the tank has about 85lbs of live rock, alot of different sorf and hard corals and 3 anemone with a pair of clown fish living in each, then about 7 other pairs of fish and also a lion fish and also a few big tangs. sorry can remeber all the names of them and i almost forgot about the seahorses, there is heaps more in the tank but as i said cant remeber sorry.
