Gosh! I think this is my seventh or eighth post today! I have been gone so long...it is all coming back to me...ok, breath deeply...where's the bag..i think I am hyperventilating :)

I would like to start working on the aquascape for a tank I will be filling probably 8 months from now. It is going to take a long time because of the aquascaping. I want to make a replica of a portion of the Great Wall. Can someone give me some advice - refer me to other posts or URL's on how to do this kind of project?

I am not sure yet but the tank will be at least 4 feet long - longer if I have the $$

Hey thats a great idea! Can't wait to see the pics once it's done. The easiest method would probably be making it out of styrofoam then covering it with cement, then painting. For info on doing this here is a link. Good luck!

Thanks! The 3D background link will be helpful...but I am also wanting most of the great wall to be in the tank as well, submersed, so that the fish can swim through the windows of the guard towers, etc. Any suggestions on building something for inside the tank?

Try this idea (link below)...only use a gutter piece vertically for the gaurd tower part. That way, you can have passages and windows. Use the foam board in the link provided by MikenDanielle for the wall part (It does go in the water). Hope this helps!
