I have just dismantled my 65 gallon setup and switched up to my 300 gallon tank. I'm looking to sell the 65 with most of the equipment I used with it. I live about an hour west of Albany NY and would like to request a pickup only.
Its an all glass aquarium, dimensions 3ft. wide, 18inches deep and 2ft. tall. Black trim. The tank has been used for a year and a half, no scratches very clean. I have two partial glass pieces that cover almost all of the top that the light hood doesn't cover. All the caulk looks perfect and it holds water to the very top.
Included:
Moderately used Aquaclear 110. This is their largest tank mounting filter. It has done a great job for me with a tremendously overstocked tank and turtles. Always kept up with ammonia filtration as well as a balanced PH the entire running time on the tank. I am including used media, but a new batch of carbon and a new sponge might be in order.
Maxima R air pump. Two outputs, cranks air, a little noisy but I always just kept it resting on an old glove which takes care of vibration well.
3ft. Black finish Hood light. This is made for reptiles, it has one fluorescent tube mount as well as three sockets for regular bulbs or heating coils. I have used it with just fish as well, works great. A little surface rust, but looks great. There are three on/off switches and separate cords to individually control each socket separately.
Home made birch plywood stand. I made it myself, used for years, very sturdy, clean and simple, made for this tank, standard sized. I have a simple opening in the backside of the stand for access but no doors. I like the smooth look on the front. I did leave room for doors if you wanted to put them on.
Aside from the heater, air hose, air stone and gravel this is a great almost complete setup. Everything works tip top. I kept the heater for the big tank so I can't afford to give it up.
I'm asking for $300 or best offer. everything is cleaned up and waiting for a new owner. Feel free to ask questions and if you want to take a look, I'd be happy to let you see.
