I posted this in Planted, but wanted to see if any of you folks who don't frequent that forum have anything to add:
I'm wondering if the NPK of choice here at AC:Planted (the wonder-trio of NoSalt, Fleet and Spectracide) will affect this sensitive fish negatively. Does anyone have any previous experience with this combination?
Nearly all of the references I've found so far about "Gnathonemus petersii" and "planted aquarium" state that the elephantnose will enjoy and prefers a planted tank, but no solid information about what kind of ferts those tanks are receiving.
PS. I'm also considering adding Kent Liquid Calcium as a supplement for Amano shrimp.... any ideas?
