Introducing the Plastic tube 5000!

Yep! with just a big 3/4 diameter thin walled clear plastic tube 18 inches long, you too! can extract that carcass before your neighbors catch wind. That's right! Simply place your thumb over the end of the tube and place the other end through the water and down to that piece of cocktail. Hover just 1/2 inch or so above it and let your thumb off. Whoosh... that little fella is gone in a flash. Pull the tube up and out of the water and over a net. Release your thumb and it's bye bye baby.

Unfortunately I had to use it for another shrimp and an Oto. Oto was fine one day and dead the next. Sux.
