Need Help!!!!!

Water changes with good water. Algae will not live if there are no nutrients for it to eat. So a water test result would really help us help you. But I would start there.

How often do you change your water??? What do you use as source water??

i`ve seen a yellow tang clean hair algae up & a coral beauty near enough in a week but even tho i`ve seen them there is always the odd coral beauty / yellow tang that will not touch it....
just like my coral beauty he will not go near it but a family member has one & its like a lawn mower on grass same with the yellow Tang....

yeah good water quality is the key point added with a good phos remover & ro water & if you use frozen foods & just defrost & add to the tank well that's a no no your best adding the frozen cube to a cup adding tank water to it then draw the food with syringe from the cup & feed the fish etc then pour the water left in the cup down the drain.

part from that you cant go wrong really unless your tubes are needing changing

clean up the whole floor of the tank in about a week, they will unfortunately eat indescriminately, mine also swats at fish but doesn't ever hurt them

As JoJo said Algae is caused by high nutrients. If your getting a lot of hair algae that is caused by high Phosphate levels. Check your phosphates and other water parameters and you should find the answers.

FW mollies can be acclimated. Nothing, and i mean NOTHING can compare to their appetite for Hair Algae.
