Earlier today I bought a little brine shrimp hatchery as to raise some for the 4 yellow labs as I read they enjoy the hunting aspect as well as gaining good nutrition value from them. My question is, is there any rule of thumb on how much to put into a tank ocne they are hatched? I would hate to over feed my cichlids or ever worse have my tank over run by brine shrimp?

Can anyone shed some light on this for me?

Thanks
Mike

One question, are your yellow labs fry/juvenilles or adults. I do not own yellow labs but I do raise angelfish. If the labs are adults there is no need to feed baby brine, it is to small for them. Baby brine is for raising fry. If you do have fry, you only want to feed them until you notice there bellys turn orange. I feed my angelfish fry three times a day. You do not want excess uneaten shrimp as they will not survive in fresh water and will fowl the water. Hope this helps
