Well people, due to a near future change in circumstances which are pending, my reef, or all parts of, are now ready to be given new homes...Unfortunately, i cannot bring my reef over to the USA to live with me...i dont even want to think about the shipping costs..lol..

However, once i am there and settled, you can be certain, that i shall be back with another, maybe going down the nano route....

The entire system was built as a DIY project, so everything has been hand made, including the display tank. Everything that is needed to run and support this system is included in the sale if you wish to purchase it complete.

Equiptment

Display Tank - 53" Long X 15" Wide X 24.5" Tall
Sump Tank - 36" Long X 12" Wide X 15" Tall
Lighting - 2 X 40W actinic marine blue and 2 X 250W Double Ended Metal Halides ( 250w per pendant )
Heater - 300W
Powerheads - 2 X MaxiJet 1200 and 1 X MaxiJet 250
Sump Return - Ehiem 1260 Submersible Pump
Skimmer - Seaclone 100
Closed Loop pump - Ocean Runner 6500
RO Unit - 50 GPD 4 Stage, 3 Months old
The live sand which is Aragonite sugar grade reef sand.
About 45KG of live rock - Various - Fiji, Indo and aquacultured, majority covered in pinks / purple coraline alage
Saltwater mixing - 30 Gallon WaterButt container with lid and the MaxiJet 250 from above and 150w heater
Various nets, additives, couple of alage magents, what ever frozen food is left when the tank is collected

Fish/ Inverts

Yellow Tang - 2.5"
False Perc Clown fish - Male and Female, Mated Pair...Female 1.25" and Male 1"
Orange Spotted Watchman Goby - about 2"
Sand Sifting Striped Goby - about 3"
2 x Lysmata Cleaner Shrimp
1 x True Peppermint Shrimp
Roughty 10 mixed snails
Roughly 10 or so Hermits

The only coral that are being sold with the tank is a piece of rock with about 8 or so Shrooms on it, look excellent under the actinic lighting.

Aww man! You just set it up ... that must suck. Where in the US are you moving to? Do you know how big will your tank be?

From a certain point of view it does suck, but, people move forward, new priorites arise, a tank can be re-built at any time or replicated..But, there are things that happen in our lives that cannot be replicated and should be grabbed with both hands, because they are worth far more than any aquarium can be..

It will be North Carolina mate...New tank size, i have no idea mate....

Sad Sad day, but happy in many other respects and aspects....The Reef has now been sold...pending collection on sunday...A era has ended, and now, the new chapter, and final chapter, of my life begins....
