I rescued this fish and the original owner doesn't remember what it is. It is between 4 and 5 yrs old, right at 10" long.

I don't think that's what it is. I looked at hundreds of pics at planet catfish but couldn't find it there either. The guy that gave it to me said he thinks it was labled as a pictus when he bought it 4 or 5 years ago. It was a little under 2" when he got it. I can't make out any markings on it, that would help id it.

Looks like an ordinary channel cat to me..albiet, somewhat stunted and malnourished.

Now that you mention it, Slappy, does it even have enough barbels to be a Pim?

Could very well be, Ryan, but I don't think that it looks "streamlined" enough to be a Shark Cat...it does, however, have the dorsal fin for it.

Yep looks like a columbian to me, if your keeping it alone you might want to add some marine salt to the water.
