Asian Crab in Community??

I tried putting my asian fighting crab in my community, hes fine, enjoys my coconut cave and doesnt bother the fish (Although twice I saw him apparently sneaking towards one of my corys, while it stared at him incredulously, as if saying "my god, you really think you can eat me if your moving like THAT?!").

Will he be ok with nowhere to get out? Or should I move him back to his old tank?

Never mind, I took him out for the death of 1 neon and possibly a female betta, went to put water in a large cup for him.

Sadly, someone was rushing to fill a boiling kettle with almost boiling water, and I happened to walk into the room when both taps produced boiling, crab killing water. Ouch. I miss him, his evil eyes, etc., etc..
