:help: I bought this tank (complete with everything) along time ago and never knew what kind of coral, and fish this is. If someone could help i would greatly appreciate it. Thanks! The fish i am wondering about is the black and white stripped one, sorry the pictures are not very clear. Also, the coral im trying to figure out is the yellow.

The fish appears to be an adult engineer goby, the coral looks like a gonipora, BUT some toadstools have that patern on the end of their polyps also. Can we get a pic of the base of the coral or a description of what it looks like when it closes.

Thanks! The coral just looks like a yellow rock when its closed, about 4" in diameter all around, and a circular but flat shape.

No problem bud, thats why we are here!! Do some more searching on gonipora they have a low survival rate.

BTW: WELCOME TO AC!!!!!!

Yeah i just did a lot of reading about them, but surprisingly I've had it for over a year and no problems yet. My nitrites are at 0 and my nitrates at 20, most of the things I've been reading say they wont survive unless nitrates are at 0, but i guess i can kind of prove it wrong sense mine have always stuck around 20-25. Thanks for the outlook though! :headbang2:

Welcome to ac,
Could you tell me what lighting you are using for the aquarium and where the gonipora is placed also do you supplement the feeding.
It really is a beautifull example.

Welcome to AC!

Nice pictures you have there.
