The bigger the tank the easier it will be to keep everything healthy. The only thing harder with larger tanks is just that the buckets are larger and you'll need more salt.
Small tanks are fine, you just have to keep a closer eye on them. I started with a 10 gal and all was fine, well untill I bought some bad water but that's not my fault. Nano tanks are fun, just keep up with your PWC's and top offs and you'll be fine.
I agree with that, time and patience is your best weapon with any marine system, there have been lots of people over the last few months on here doing small aquariums as their first one, and i have not seen any fail thus far..
There are plenty of experienced marine aquarists here on AC to help you and guide you through it all..
thanks, i probably on can get a 10 gallon or something like that, maybe a 20. but how much should it cost me to get running. i would buy a used tank,or just use a 29 or 37 im not using.
