Hi,

I have about 7 kribs in my tank, and got them in different combos from about three different places.

My male kribs are more white (in between the dark lines) than some females I have.

Three of my females are more yellow (in between the dark lines) and they seem to be the ones paired up with the males.

But I also have 1 female thats as white as the males.

I'm wondering why there is a difference in coloration.

I have seen a regular krib and an albino krib.

Also, P. subocellatus, P. humilis, P. roloffi, P. color morphs of taeniatus such as Lobe, Wouri, Nigeria-Red, etc.

Google Image those puppies and see what you have: http://images.google.com/imghp?tab=wi

This one shows a side of the female below.

In this image I have both a yellow female, and one of the males.

Notice the difference in color.

I think these two are a pair since she is the only one he doesn't chase away.

Nice looking fish - they do look like different color morphs, but both are P. pulcher.
