I've got a 55 gallon tank up and running with freshwater of no great note. I also have a 29 gallon tank of livebearers. I am considering a brackish tank with puffer(s). Perhaps 2-3 females and one male in a 38 that has sat empty for about 2 years, since I got my 55. I started with my 29 in the summer of 2002 with some platies and mollies (and more babies than I could handle) now I let only the strongest and smartest survive in this tank with plenty of plastic plants for hiding... I got the 38 in 2005.
I drive inter-city buses. In my spare time, I've been maintaining freshwater aquariums for about 10 different people on a regular basis and another 20 or so while they were away on vacation. I've set up over 10 tanks for other people as well.
I hope someday I will retire and do this sort of thing to keep busy and supplement my pension/social security.
