Eeek...is this good? Bad?

Moved rockscape earlier today and came home to found this beast sticking out of one of the rocks. To give you some perception it is sticking out about 1.25" and that is my goby's head in the background (he is about 2.5" long).

Is this thing OK? Bad? Get it the hell out? If so..HOW?

and the closeup of the beast like creature. It doesn't have bristles like a bristleworm.

I can't tell by your picture but google 'peanut worm'. If I am right, no worries.

OK, from looking around, the tip does look like the mouth end of this peanut worm. I don't see the large part but I'm hoping that is in the rock and this is all good. Right? Please tell me this isn't a beast.
