With non aquatic plants I know that there are some plants that are very beneficial to the soil. Clover, for instance, helps put nitrogen into the soil. As I thought about this and as I am planning my tank I had some questions.
Are there some aquatic plants that are extremely (more than average) beneficial to the substrata?
What is the order I should plant the plants? For example, is it better to put the ground cover in first and let that take off and then put the background plants? or some other other? put them all in at one time? Do I have to be worried about the bio load on the environment? Is there a rule, i.e. only put in two or three plants in at a time?
