I fed my Meat Coral and Open Brain Coral each a small hunk of shrimp last night. The Brain Coral did okay but the piece might have been too big for the Meat Coral. It's still in it's mouth and the coral has shriveled up. Should I try to pull that piece of shrimp out or will he be okay? It's already inside the oral cavity but not fully engulfed.

Never mind - he handled it. It was there this morning - it's gone now. I don't know if he digested it, more likely he just regurgitated it. He looks fine now.
I've been using a Red Sea Prism protein skimmer on my tank and I'm not impressed with it, but this is my first tank so I don't have anything to compare it to. I have an Aqua C Pro protein skimmer due to arrive any day. I'll have to let you know if it's better.
