Anyone have any possitive experience with the 24g Aquapod with the 150HQI MH lighting system? I got rid of my 125g tank 2'ish years ago and I've been itching to setup something again, but not as large.

I've been thinking about getting one for several months and some spare cash has been building up so I may try it out. My stocking ideas are basicly a pair of Ocellaris clowns, a small invert cleanup crew, with some polyps/mushrooms and LPS corals.

I plan on switching out the pump they provide with a pair of MJ900's probably but otherwise I'm looking for a pretty complete system that I can setup, maintain, and enjoy.

Thanks for the feedback.

I was going to get the same thing. In the end, though I just got a 20H and sunpod 150 HQI. I like to change things out on my tank and did not like the restrictive nature of the AP24. So my two cents for your problem . . . have you though about getting a small regular tank so you can choose the exact pieces of equipment you want?

I have the 24g aquapod. Ordered the 150 watt 14k MH for it and it's going to be here in 2 days!!!!! I'm so excited to see these things with 6 watts per gallon. I have Rose bubble tip anemone, Eagle eye zoas, Electric green zoas, Tree corals, Ricordia shrooms, Hairy shrooms, purple shrooms, pink xenia, blue nenia, silver tip xenia, culepra macro algea that i keep in a corner(adds a nice touch), Red saddleback Clown, 14 inch Ghost ribbon eel, 15-20 hermits, 25-30 nassarius snails, 1 mexican turbo snail. As of right now, everything is doing amazing even under the built in power compact aquapod comes with. I've never had a problem with this tank i love it and i love that there is no front seems.
