I was thinking of building a wood box pond. This way I could up it on my deck (yes it will hold the wieght used to have a hot tub on it or maybe on the ground just so I dont have to dig it out (rock and clay yard). But I was wondering if anyone has done this... the cost it was for them. I was thinking about making it 4' wide 6'-8' long 2'-2.5' deep. What do you guys think. And unlike some other post on here this one will be acomplished ;).

Hi I made a pond like youre talking about earlier in the year, though not as big as you are thinking of making because I needed to be portable.
heres a link to a post I made on it on another forum http://www.fnzas.org.nz/fishroom/400ltr-pond-vt17280.html
sorry no build pics, and keep in mind nz$
I hope that helps and good luck mate
