I have not done a water change in 3 weeks due to various reasons. I have let my new water sit now for 24hrs and and going to do a 33% water change in my 33 gal tank. Would this amount be ok to do?
 
Sure! As long as the parameter match (temp, salinity), go right ahead.

On my 29g, I do 17% weekly. On my 55g, trying to get back from the overfeeding I've done, I've done a few 50% changes.

The corals seem ok with it, and they're generally more problematic with change than the fish, soo.....

I do about 15-17% water changes every week.
 
thanks, i ended up doing about 25% water change, so far it has worked out ok.:headbang2:
 
I've always dont 10-15% water changes and everything has always been perfect. ammonia-0 nitrites-0 nitrates-0 ph-8.1.
