Well I took out my A. Ulvaceus,4 Amazon swords, pond penny, and 3 red melon swords. I planted 3 bunches of Giant Hairgrass, and 3 bunches of another type of grass (looks like monkey grass) it is green with white stripes and is very hard feeling.
Anyway I am going for all grasses now. I still have my Lotus', amazon swords, red melon swords, dwarf sag, corkscrew val, crypts, and so on.

Anybody know of any type of easy to grow grass? I need some medium height plants.

Skitty, Sounds like my garden in the yard, just can't stop tearing things out and moving them around.

I have some medium height vals (tortifolia I believe), that spiral just a tad. I've been really pleased with how they look when they start to fill in. Not really a grass though.

We'll need a photo of that tank when you get it back in order. ;)

Hmmm, wonder if it will ever happen. My corkscrew val has had a hard time of it. It always seems to send runners into the middle of my amazon swords. I moved a bunch of it to the back and a corner. Hopefully it will fill in a lot. I think it is sort of grassy. I have a crinum bulb that has taken off, I really like it too.

My favorite is the giant hairgrass. I really like how it looks.

Your green and white plant sounds like Acorus, which is not a true aquatic plant.

Somebody look at the plant in the middle. The green/white grass.
