Ok my blue crayfish is pregnent and has been hiding for about a week and a half. i have set up a 29 g for her, and put in old filter material/gravel and decorations. to help it get started. I guess my Question is is it ok to move her right now? also how would i aclimate her to the new tank. I really need to move her before the babies come, for the other fish in the tank will eat them. Advise please!!!!

The way to acclimate her to the new tank is by putting 25% of the existing tank water into the new tank and then top off your existing tank. This in effect is a 25% PWC. Then do this every couple of hours until both tanks are full. Then do a 25% PWC on the new tank and both tanks should be nearly exact replicas as far as water parameters. Check to make sure the temps are the same if you have them heated and if so, it would be OK to just move her from the old to the new.
For your future information, you should not transfer the old gravel and filter media to the new tank until you are ready to move the fish. If the gravel and filter have been in the new tank for more than 4-8 hours, the majority, if not all of the N-bacteria have died off since there was no ammonia to feed the nitrogen cycle.
After you do the water changes to make both tanks identical, then take some of the filter media and gravel from the old tank and put it in the new tank with the crayfish.
How long has she been carrying eggs? A quick Google tells me that the gestation period for crayfish range from 4-8 weeks depending on water temperature. The cooler the water, the longer the gestation period. Is the tank heated or room temp and what is the temp? This page has more... http://www.crayfishworld.com/breeding.htm
This page is an interesting and entertaining read and also has more links to info. http://www.wetwebmedia.com/ca/cav1i4/crayfish/crayfish.htm
