Arcade thread

So is this like the Mafia game? Do we each knock off a fish by voting to lynch?

In concurrence with rule #3 (All games must be fun) I post
http://www.freshpulp.com/fishtank/fishtank.html

This little gem is the closest thing to a fish-tank simulator, you start with two guppies and basic food and slowly upgrade your food and how much you can drop.

Your fish grow as you feed them and in return give you satisfaction and joy of keeping fish (in monetary form which you have to click to collect)

Keeping carnivores rewards you more as they drop gems (worth $200) but they require to be fed on baby guppies (it's so cruel :(... )

You get rare 'fish' once a round which help in various ways, to get a new one collect the three pieces of egg.

Monsters appear (let's just call it Monster Ich) who wishes to feast on your poor fishies, defend them by delivering cold-lead medication straight into the belly of the evil beast.

Enjoy!
(Unfortunately this game breaches rule #4, games must not be highly addictive)

Hints, tips and tricks

1. When being attacked by an enemy, you can 'steer' it away from your valuable fish by targeting the region towards it's heading (e.g. if you want to force it down shoot its head)
2. Press 'P' to pause
3. If you accidently close the window, never fear, you will keep your valuable fish (ones from eggs) but you will reset upgraded food, weapons, purchased egg pieces and non-valuable fish
4. Drop food from the top of the tank, this way the fish will be able to reach it in time if they are hungry (turning green)
5. Silver coins are worth $15, gold are $30 and diamonds/pearls are worth $200.

Special characters
Prego, the mama fish- regularly gives birth to basic guppies, best used with one carnivore as she gives birth to fish regularly enough to feed it. May cause overstocking however, in which case, lay off on the feeding until your capacity returns to normal.

Itchy, the sword-fish- helps attack incoming enemies, very helpful early on but useless later with upgraded 'medication', also may be infuriating as he 'steers' the enemy towards your fish if you're not careful.

The clam guy- regularly produces pearls, simply click on them for $200 cash-in-hand.

Speedy the snail- travels along the bottom of the tank collecting money which you may not have picked up.

Crab guy- similar to Itchy, helps attack enemies which stray too close to the bottom.
