My new german ram is sporting a bit of fungus on one pectoral fin. I treated the tank with jungle tabs for fungus. Three days into the treatment it looked like a long trail of somthing white and wispy was trailing off the cottony patch on the fin. That trailer was gone the next time I looked. At four days there seemed no change so I did a 24% water change and redosed.
That was saturday evening. There still doesn't seem any change in the fin.
The fish is eating well and appears fine otherwise, no sign of fungus on the other fish.
What's next? If there is still no change at the end of the seven days treatment do I put the carbon back in the filter and do a water change?
And then what? Start over again with jungle tabs? Try something different?
Might it be something other than fungus?
