I got a new GSP yesterday after my last one passed 2 weeks ago. My GSP had been depressed, so when i was just looking around at the lfs and they had gotten new smaller GSP in so i bought the most active, colorful, round belly guy they had. I was a little worried because even thought he was the healthiest looking he is so small and cute. But they ended up becoming buddies:perv:

yeah i wanted to try to keep them social hopefully having friends well

As long as you realize you're gonna need at least a 60g tank for them as adults.
