hey peoples i was wondering wether my black convicts can eat tadpoles i have a bunch in my outdoor pond and theyre real easy to catchhttp://www.aquariacentral.com/forums/images/icons/icon10.gif
Be careful feeding tadpoles. I fed some "unknown" tadpoles to a turtle once and the next day he was bleeding from his nose and mouth. Turns out they were poisonous toad tadpoles (you know how toad excrete that white milky stuff?).
My father tried feeding his arowana tadpoles 13 years ago as far as I can remember and the aro fell ill the next day and died soon afterwards. IMO, I'd rather avoid the tadpoles than risk feeding them to the fish.

i think that the toads aren't poisonous cause me and my friends used to catch them for fun and plus my goldfish and koi in the pond eat them and theyre doing well but still i dont want to take any chances

The toads here aren't exactly poisonous either. Still, you will want to avoid them completely or risk killing your fish. People here are keen to avoid frogs in their ponds and I do as well. You'll never know what happens next the moment the cons eat the tadpoles.
