Hi Nate, Does your tank have plenty of places for the fsh to hide. If so you could rearange everything to breakup the territories but the aggression may return as the fish establish new ones. Adding something to break up the line of vision may also help.

periodic re-arranging will help - might be necessary every few months.

you could also put a divider screen in which has holes big enough for the JD's but not for the BP...not going to help much as between the JD's though.

best thing to do is remove the fish. Then re arrange the tank, then put them back in. Add the JD'd first I would add the female JD then the MAle then the BP. I would do it this way for two reasons. One by removing them and putting them back after the change will make them think its a new home. Two by adding them this way will determaine a pecking order, the BP will be at the bottom allowing the JD to stake out territory first.

Just put them in a bucket or two during re construction. with some of the tank water. I would Put them in at 5 min intervals give them time to check it out before adding another fish. Maybe even a little more! I did this with a couple of my tanks and it worked out pretty well. Best of luck to you.

It may work temporarily, but IMO, it will start back up. Either with size issues and not enough room, or if you do have M/F JDs, if they pair off.

you can rearange your tank every few months when the aggression comes back or you could get a tank divider.
